About the Owner
When he was young, Dan grew up working alongside his dad on docks and lifts, making him very familiar with the Wisconsin lakes. After taking a 5 year hiatus to serve in the Marine Corps, Dan returned and bought the family business from his Dad as well as purchasing Blue Crane Boatworks out of Madison, which now make up JD Hellenbrand LLC. Dan is passionate about providing the highest quality service on time, with impeccable attention to detail. He expects the same level of integrity and hard work ethic in all of his employees.
